Logic Pro X 10.5.1is one of the best applications for creating and editing high-quality music and sounds. Pro musicians, sound engineers, electronic sound creators, and producers use it for touching new heights in music and sound development. Its countless new impressive features enable users to create, editing, modify and enhance the sound and sound quality in their desired way without installing any 3rd party application. With Live Loops on the Mac, Logic users can now create music in new freeform and nonlinear ways. Loops, samples, and recordings can be organized into a new musical grid, where musicians can spontaneously perform and capture different arrangement ideas into the timeline. Logic 10.5.1 will NOT load. Get registry error every time. This reminds me of why I switched from Windows to Apple years ago...I got tired of all the updates and registry errors. Seems like Apple has been in a down hill slide since Cook took over. Reliability seems to be not so reliable anymore. If anyone figures why Logic has suddenly stopped loading I'd appreciate seeing the answer.

PROBLEM SOLVED WITH APPLE SUPPORT READ HERE HOW TO SOLVE (Another method): I just got off the phone with a Senior Apple Support member (genius?) and they fixed my problem. The 10.5.1 update completely does not support 32 bit plugins anymore (apparently 10.5 still supported it to some extent). Now, if you have any 32 bit plugins, you have to delete them (or remove them from the Components folder) to get Logic to open. Not sure if this will help anyone, here is what they had me to:

so, I just need to get 10.5.1. but it's seemingly impossible to download a previous update version from the App Store (which is giving me the "we couldn't complete your purchase...cancelled" error", but that's another thread). kinda frustrating that I can download any of the older of the Supplemental Updates (none of which stop the crashes on waking from sleep, but that too is for another thread), but I can't find an update to 10.5.1!

so, I created a .dmg from the .app file, copied it to my machine, installed it and VOILA...currently running 10.5.1 on both machines (which makes her sending me sessions to mix/master so much easier now).

Same issue here. Just updated to OS 10.14 and can't find any way to get the compatible 10.15.1 update. I'm getting the same message as mrgeeaye got, even after trashing my 10.4.8 version of logic. If anyone has a solution please post. Thanks

I've got the same problem. I've just updated to Mac OS 10.14.6 and want to buy Logic Pro X, but AppStore says that I need to have Catalina but the thing is I want to stay on Mojave and legally buy LPX 10.5.1. Any1 knows what to do?

The logical culmination of this workflow is the ability to record a performance in the Live Loops grid into a standard arrangement within the Tracks Area. To do this, ensure that Cycle mode is disabled, click the Enable Performance Recording button (on the left side of the grid's toolbar) so that it turns red, and start recording in the usual manner by clicking the Record button. Now, dressing in your DJ attire with the optional smoke machine and strobe lights activated, let the performance commence, stopping Logic's transport when you're done.

Logic 10.5.1 rescans and resets all your AUs and VSTs so potentially a problem there. I would suggest. Reinstall Scaler 2.0.8. Reboot Mac. Open Logic, allow full scan. Check if Scaler is operating as expected otherwise Logic Pro X/Preferences/Plugin Manager search for Scaler 2 and reset and rescan selection.

This seems as if MaGenerativeInstruments.Framework isn't working on ur mac. Please upgrade Your logic pro to latest version i.e. 10.6.2. This issue has been resolved in latest Logic Pro X version. Also make sure that you are using mac os Catlina or Big Sur. Any Mac os prior to 10.15.2 will not be able to run Latest Logic.

I have a simple drum part sequenced in Logic Pro X (10.5.1). When I play the song starting from before the midi region, the notes are in time with the metronome. When I start playback right at the region, I hear the first notes ever so slightly later than the metronome. This also occurs when the metronome is off; it's just even more noticeable with the metronome on.

Had enough? Too bad! The Server Admin Tools also saw an update to 10.5.3. For all the dirty details you can read the knowledge base article. It seems a major part of the update is past updates from 10.5.1 and 10.5.2 that weren't available in standalone form. 041b061a72
